Attorney Lisa A. Francis

Lisa A. Francis grew up in Porter County, Indiana and graduated from Boone Grove High School in 1984.  She attended and graduated from Kirkwood Community College, Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1989 with an Associate of Arts Degree specializing in Paralegal Studies.  She began working as a paralegal for the law firm of Harper and Rogers in 1989 and in 1995 returned to college and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana University Northwest in Gary, Indiana in 2000.  She then attended Valparaiso University School of Law in Valparaiso, Indiana and graduated with a Juris Doctor Degree in the Spring of 2004.
 
Attorney Lisa Francis then became an Associate at the law firm of Harper and Rogers in 2004 and also became a Deputy Public Defender with the Porter County Public Defender’s office.  Attorney Francis has practiced in the following areas: criminal law, personal injury, municipal law, and worker’s compensation.  
 
Attorney Francis joined the law firm of Rhame & Elwood in the fall of 2004 as an Associate.  She is the enforcement attorney for the Porter County Board of Zoning Appeals and a Deputy Porter County Public Defender.
