Attorney Katrina Spence

Katrina Spence grew up in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from Resurrection High School in 1989. She attended Saint Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Indiana where she earned her Bachelor of Science, cum laude, in 1993. Upon graduation from college, Katrina worked as a Deputy Sheriff with the Cook County Sheriff’s Office in Cook County, Illinois while attending DePaul University School of Law. She obtained her juris doctorate in1997. She advised the Cook County Sheriff’s Office on legal matters and also was responsible for negotiations with the various collective bargaining units that represented the 6,000 + employees as well as conducting grievance hearings.

In 2005, Katrina became a member of the Indiana Bar and began working for Porter County as a Deputy Prosecutor. In March of 2008, Katrina joined the Law Office of Rhame & Elwood. Katrina will be practicing in the areas of Family Law, Criminal Law, and Municipal Law.
